Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, Yadira has been working and travelling around the world to dedicate herself to what she loves the most: Entertainment. Her first concert was in her mother’s womb during the Whitesnake tour for the album “Slip of the Tongue” and since then, it was all a matter of time before her destiny called.
After finishing High School, Yadira started to look for jobs to be able to pay for her travels to see bands all over Europe. She started as an Administrative Assistant at the age of 16, but attended heavy metal and rock concerts regularly and spent her weekends travelling and visiting other cities where her favorite bands would play until she realized that is what she wanted to do in her life. After a few years went by, she decided to open a concert booking agency with two of her best friends called Rock Chicks Concerts, which is still active to this day, and they use it to book bands looking for a first chance to bring their music live to the public in Barcelona.
Yadira knew that Spain was not going to be the best place to find her desired career, since most of the bands were from other parts of the world. During her journey, she ended up moving to the United States, where she currently resides. She is currently working as a Production Assistant for Disney Live Entertainment in Walt Disney World, living her dream.
As of today, with more than 300 concerts behind her back, and when she is not working on Disney events, she is a concert photographer, merchandiser, and band hospitality assistant. Her experience includes working in shows like Meshuggah, Carcass, Cannibal Corpse, Rick Springfield, L.A. Guns, The Poodles, Marco Mendoza, Yngwie Malmsteen, S.O.T.O. (Jeff Scott Soto), Royal Hunt, Ross The Boss (Manowar), etc., and even include experience on board such as the 70.000 Tons of Metal cruise.
“I think everybody’s weird. We should all celebrate our individuality and not be embarrassed or ashamed of it.”
